All-season tires are a compromise that Jackson's winters don't forgive. Dedicated winter tires use a softer compound and aggressive tread that grip snow and ice far better, dramatically shortening your stopping distance on the roads to and from the passes. Running a separate winter set also saves wear on your summer tires. We handle the full seasonal changeover — removing and storing your off-season set, mounting and balancing the current one, and torquing everything to spec so you're ready before the first real storm.

A properly balanced tire spins without vibration, which protects your suspension, your ride quality, and the tire itself. Rotation moves your tires through their wear positions so they wear evenly and last as long as possible — skipping it is like leaving money on the table. Because front and rear tires wear differently, and because our roads are hard on rubber, staying on a rotation schedule is one of the easiest ways to get the most miles out of a set.

Not every flat can — or should — be repaired. A puncture in the tread area is usually a safe patch-plug repair, but sidewall damage or a puncture too close to the shoulder means the tire needs to be replaced for your safety. We inspect every flat honestly and tell you which situation you're in. When a repair is safe, we do it right; when it isn't, we'll explain why rather than send you back out on a compromised tire.

Cold weather is hard on tire pressure — pressure drops roughly a pound for every 10 degrees the temperature falls, so Jackson's cold snaps regularly trigger the TPMS warning light. Correct pressure matters for grip, wear, and fuel economy. We diagnose and reset TPMS sensors, replace failed ones, and set your pressures for the season so your tires perform their best and that dashboard light stays off.
